Heh. It's almost been a year since my last thing. This has decayed into derelictness. I'm going to keep this stuff here, though. Check out my fireworks. Click here

After several more months of struggling with threads, my thing actually goes! It still flickers a lot and is buggy, though. Click here for Internet Explorer. Click here for Firefox or other broswers with the latest version of Java installed.

After months of struggling over it, my... thing actually does something! http://myncknm.bravehost.com/nogoodnamehere/firsttodosomething/bounce.html

School has started, so there will be less activity here. I've started working on a map for Dungeon Siege, though. I've posted a screenshot Doesn't it look nice?

Edited and added clouds to the project. The clouds have alpha transparency :). It took a long time to find an image editor that can make transparent images, but I found The GIMP. The GIMP is free and much better than the paint program that comes with Windows. It's not as good as Macromedia Fireworks, which costs $299, but it's the best free one that I know about. It takes a while to figure out how to use it, but... Hey, maybe my little brother can play with it!

Tested project. You can see it at http://myncknm.bravehost.com/nogoodnamehere/first/bounce.html. It doesn't do anything yet, but if you click a few spots on the gray part, you can find some textboxes and a drop-down menu.

I stayed up until 1:00 yesterday. I only watched meteors until midnight. The rest of the time, my hyperactive little brother was relentlessly pestering me! Oh well. The new thing I'm adding to the website, a game, is nearly done. I tried it today and the computer found 42 errors. Then, I fixed 3 things I did wrong, tried again, and found out I actually had 100 errors... One of the problems I fixed was hiding many others. So now I'm fixing them. After killing all these errors, there's still testing, finishing the part that handles graphics, and drawing the graphics. This is going to take a while...

There's a meteor shower tonight. Java sure takes a long time to program, so I'm stilll working on that thing. It's about 7000 characters long now, I think. Now I need a space-filler: pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples pineapples. That's all.

Yea, it's been awhile... I think I'm almost done with the new thing in the computer page... well... maybe in a week... or two.... There's going to be a lot more testing and typing and stuff. I've been playing Final Fantasy VIII , which is my first FF game. Yay! Yea, the 7/16 phrase was really bad, I'll have to put in another. Oh, and sorry if this someone who actually happened to visit this website, which can't be that many now that it's been left alone for about 3 weeks, would rather not have seen today's quote.

I like sushi, but don't eat too many fish eggs, because salmon are threatened as a species. Going to the Netherlands for 5 days or so because my parents have a business trip. We get to wait 3 days in a hotel! Expect more stuff in the "computer stuff" page, because that's the best way I can think of to spend those 3 days. It should be there by August (it takes a long time!). Now to add that new page I've been planning...

We just got some sugar cane, it smells weird but tastes good. What else was I going to say? Oh well, I think I'll add a new page...

Back from Whistler Mountain in Canada. :) Some parts of the trip were... interesting... like when we were on the sea-to-sky highway. We were driving at 60 miles per hour, but the signs said the speed limit was 60 kilometers per hour; we were going about 40 kilometers per hour over the speed limit... Right after I pointed that out, we caught up to another car going the same speed. Then, 2 other cars passed us, even though we were on a road that doesn't allow passing. Then, the car that was in front of us stayed in front of us for maybe an hour, although we didn't intentionally follow it. Imagine having the same car behind you for an hour, and we were right behind that car until just a minute or two before the hotel, going off the highway together, making the same turns, etc. We probably should've brought our bikes and went skiing, but we only had one day. We got to go on ATV's though, with a guide teaching us how to use it. Me and my brother weren't allowed to drive, though, so we were passengers. This was actually safe, unlike the time we rode M(something)V's in Mexico. My mom was nervous so I ended up driving her :D. I like llamas, which live in Peru, and were domesticated by Incas, like Cuzi!

I was just told that we would be going to Canada for 3 days in less than an hour. So, yea.

Right... my brother pestered my dad for a while and finally got him to give him membership to Runescape, $5 a month. He already had a account for free. Being a member only adds new features, but the free one is as much a good game as the whole thing. So, he becomes a member. Then he complains that he doesn't want to craft to get a shield he really wanted! I told him it might've been better to wait until he was more ready, when he had better skills and items and such, but he wouldn't listen. Now he's all angry because "crafting's boring! I don't want to do it! I want the shield! You do the crafting for me!" *sigh*. Also, we spent about an hour or so waiting at Costco to see Clinton's face for maybe 2 seconds. That's called idolism, but why idolize? What exactly do we get out of seeing a face for 2 seconds? Discuss it here! Right, enough complaining.... um... huckleberries and avocados are good. Llamas are better, except when they spit.

It's summer! No more school! No more LA! I still get to do essays, though, because I want to practice... Ughh, that C- on a recent project will be burned into my memory forever. I'm trying to not procrastinate on them too. Now I get to spend a lot more time on art, computer skills, math, emailing, playing, instant messaging, etc.
